Dan's Elk Room

Dan Evans (Option Archery owner/founder) has been an elk hunting fanatic since he took his first bull with a bow 30 years ago.   Dan's passion for success in the elk woods has always been a driving factor in his product designs.  Dan has averaged nearly 50 days per year bowhunting elk, for the last 25+ years.  Almost all of Dan's bulls have been killed on Public Land, and all are self-guided hunts.  Dan has hunted most western states, including Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico.  On most years Dan packs up in mid-August and follows the "Wapiti trail" around the west for 6 weeks or so.  Mostly hunting alone, but always grateful when he gets to share a camp with friends, and always prefers to have his wife and daughters in camp whenever possible.
